Janet's Birthday Parties: Janet comes with her guitar, microphone and amplifier and a big purple suitcase filled with costumes, scarves and instruments. She breaks the ice with a song using the children's names and encourages them to sing and tell jokes on the microphone (Little Tyke Open Mic). She calls the kids up on stage to be the chorus for "Tyrannosaurus Rex" and other fun songs including the kid's requests and then lets the kids dig into the costumes and instruments for dress-up and joyous participation. Many songs are performed that have hand motions and movement, so everyone is fully engaged from beginning to end. People find Janet's concerts to be very empowering and uplifting, filled with laughter and joy. It's an hour that will always be remembered and is especially entertaining to the grown-ups in the audience. Song Writing Workshops

Janet involves all of the senses in her exciting workshops while sharing the wonder of song creation with students of all ages and abilities. With her BA in English/Secondary Ed., she is very skilled in the process of writing and especially grateful for the gift of songwriting!
Janet has done her songwriting workshops in schools, Libraries, Assisted Living residences, restaurants, camps, shore resorts and more places than you can probably imagine!.

Concerts

Janet performs at assembly programs, Festivals, Zoos, Museums, Community Centers, Libraries, Hospitals, Girl Scout Camp-Overs, and anywhere that groups can gather.
